We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance for our three restaurants.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance operations (planned and reactive), ensuring full health & safety, legal and environmental compliance.
- Manage maintenance budgets and costs, negotiating PPM contracts with to deliver the highest and most cost-effective levels of service.
- Schedule, direct and support external contractors, ensuring quality control and timely completion of maintenance tasks with minimum business disruption.
- Build strong relationships with contractor’s and site teams, streamline communication and ensure timely resolution of maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular site assessments to identify potential issues, plan and implement preventative action.
- Liaise with the restaurant’s operations teams and stakeholders on all maintenance matters, manage and direct the Maintenance Assistant accordingly.
- Ensure accurate and legally compliant maintenance records are maintained.
- Maintain and an appropriate stock inventory to support efficient day-to-day operations.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager (multi-site preferred).
- Previous experience in restaurants and/or hotels is highly desirable with a strong understanding of high-volume kitchen operations and equipment and guest-facing maintenance standards.
- Previous experience of PPM contract negotiations and management.
- Full knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated success in budget control and project management.
- Willingness to support in a hands-on fashion and flexible with travel between sites as required.
- Excellent communication skills, IT literate with the ability to liaise with all stakeholders.
- Relevant technical qualification.
